Additive in the composition of reformulated petrol and its performance

When the engine is operated on fuel without multifunctional additive, the issues associated with oxygenate fuels include formation of carbon deposit and other deposits on the fuel system and combustion chamber components, as well as pollution of engine oil with them, resulting in deterioration of haulage capacity, economic and environmental performance of the engine, reduce its reliability and operational life.

“F2-21 eeFuel“ 10000 additive in the concentration of 1 liter per 10,000 liters of fuel does not alter physical and chemical fuel properties, specified by technical regulations even when addet to fuel mixed with any other types of additives of other manufacturers. Reduction of activation energy by the additive enables fuel oxidation and ensures its complete combustion at lower temperatures. Temperature reduction in the combustion chamber results in decrease of maximum pressure in it and thus reduces roughness of engine operation and reduced noxious emissions with exhaust gases, particularly nitrogen oxides. The effect of promoter on the combustion rate corresponds to Le Chatelier's principle.

Environmental performance of engines improves from Euro 0-2 to Euro 3, and from Euro 3 and Euro 4 it improves by one level. Meanwhile, combustion chamber, ignition plugs and gas outlet line are cleared from carbon deposits; design parameters of the combustion chamber and rated fuel combustion behavior during engine operation are preserved; engine operation under all loads is stabilized; cylinder-piston group wear reduces while the engine life increases; fuel consumption decreases by down to 5 %; thermal and mechanical tension of the engine is reduced; periods between engine overhauls are extended, while labor and financial costs for their implementation are reduced.

The use of “F2-21 eeFuel“ 10000 additive in the composition of MTBE will stabilize the performance of Euro 0-3 and Euro 4 engines at the level specified by the manufacturer for 80 and 160 thousand km of mileage, respectively.

This in turn will enable in reduction of operating gasoline consumption by users and increase customer demand for it.

Given that MTBE costs $ 134-167 per ton of petrol, rise in MTBE price with  “F2-21 eeFuel“ 10000 additive added in it will be $ 14-17 (assumed MTBE concentration in gasoline is 12-15%).

The rise in petrol production cost by $ 14-17 per ton is compensated by the increased demand for energy-saving fuels (reduction of average operating fuel consumption by 7-11%), which increase the reliability and service life of the engine.
